Job summary

Little Locals Early Learning is seeking an Accounts Clerk in Brisbane to support the finance team with daily accounting tasks, focusing on Accounts Payable. You will process invoices, handle refunds, manage batch payments, and assist with supplier reconciliations and daily banking.

The role involves bank reconciliations, cash flow planning support, and collaboration with the wider finance team. A team-oriented, detail-focused candidate with strong MS Office skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft suite.
• Reconciling supplier accounts and statements.
• Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies.
• Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payment runs.

Responsibilities

• Enter Accounts Payable invoices into the invoice approval system.
• Check and process payment of refunds and reimbursements.
• Process Accounts Payables batch payments.
• Supplier reconciliations and reporting.
• Manage Accounts inbox and queries.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Assist with cash flow planning and review of daily banking transactions.
• Provide support to wider finance team.
