Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer for a permanent role based in the inner Northern suburbs of Brisbane. You will report to the Accounts Manager and support the full AP process in a busy team environment.

Key duties include processing supplier invoices, reconciling accounts, daily bank reconciliations, and maintaining payment documentation with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Ability to build strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, adaptable to different audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile supplier accounts and ensure timely payments and proper discounts.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and handle urgent payment requests.
• Manage the AP email inbox and respond to internal/external queries professionally.
• Maintain accurate records, filing and archiving payment documentation.
