The role involves processing supplier invoices, assisting with ERP system testing and validation, and supporting the Finance team with month-end tasks. It offers growth opportunities as the business expands.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and purchase orders for weekly payment runs.
• Provide assistance with ERP system enhancement, testing and validation.
• Resolve invoice, payment and accounts payable queries.
• Assist with managing AP inbox and supplier enquiries.
• Prepare accurate month-end reports and other deadlines.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist Finance with ad-hoc accounts duties.

Lawson Elliott is excited to be partnering with a growing industrial business based in the Brisbane CBD, who are seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis. This position will also have the possibility to go permanent for the right candidate.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

• Process supplier invoices and purchase orders for their weekly payment runs
• Provide assistance with the enhancement, testing and validation of their ERP system
• Resolve invoice, payment and accounts payable queries
• Assist with managing the AP inbox and respond to supplier enquiries
• Prepare accurate month-end reports as well as other documentation within the required deadlines
• Liaising and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist the Finance team with ad-hoc accounts duties as required

To be considered for this role, it would be advantageous to have
