Job summary

Whitehaven Coal Limited is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the Finance Shared Services team in Brisbane. You will own end-to-end AP activities, process supplier invoices, employee reimbursements and payments in SAP, and work with multiple stakeholders to maintain controls and timely payments.

The role offers a hybrid setup with one day working from home per week, a supportive team culture, and opportunities for development within a growing ASX-listed company.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated end-to-end Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience with SAP and ERP environments is highly regarded.
• Strong reconciliation and supplier management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes in SAP, including supplier invoices and payments.
• Prepare weekly and ad hoc payment runs per approved terms and controls.
• Respond to supplier inquiries with high service levels.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Treasury and Operations to support Procure-to-Pay.
