UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families in Brisbane is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer on a full-time 12-month contract. The role supports hybrid working and involves end-to-end AP processes, vendor management, and collaboration with the Finance team to ensure timely, accurate financial outcomes.

The successful candidate will have experience in AP/AR or finance administration, strong organisational skills, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or finance administration.
• Ability to process supplier invoices accurately and on time.
• Proactive in resolving discrepancies and maintaining vendor data.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficient with MS Excel and basic finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with payment runs and accounts payable administration.
• Respond to supplier and stakeholder inquiries professionally.
• Prepare account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor information and ensure records are up to date.
• Support month-end processing and reporting requirements.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the AP function.
• Provide general administrative support within the team.
