UnitingCare Qld is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team on a full-time 12-month contract. The role supports hybrid working by agreement and focuses on accurate processing, supplier inquiries, and end-to-end AP tasks.

Ideal candidates will have AP/AR or finance administration experience, strong attention to detail, and solid MS Office skills. You’ll contribute to month-end activities and stakeholder collaboration in a supportive team environment.

Competenze

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Finance Administration or a similar role.
• Exposure to invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliations and supplier management.
• A willingness to learn and develop broader accounts payable knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A positive, team-focused attitude and collaborative approach.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across a range of stakeholders.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Mansioni

• Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with payment runs and accounts payable administration activities.
• Respond to supplier and stakeholder enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare account reconciliations and assist with resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor information and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
• Support month-end processing activities and reporting requirements.
• Build positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounts Payable function.
• Provide general administrative support as required within the team.
