Job summary

ConnectSydney is seeking a Customer & Operations Centre Operator in Rockdale, NSW. You will monitor and respond to faults and incidents from our 24/7 Control Room, coordinating responses and dispatching resources across the Harbour Zone.

The role operates on a rotating 12-hour shift roster over six weeks, including night shifts and weekend shifts. A background in traffic management or control room work and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a traffic management or control room environment.
• Civil works or ITS knowledge is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to incoming calls, faults and incidents from the 24/7 Control Room.
• Organise and dispatch resources to attend faults and incidents within the network.
• Report and document all incidents, complaints, observations and enquiries using the ConnectSydney Job Management System.
• Provide professional service to customers when answering the stakeholder line and emails.
• Coordinate with multiple parties to resolve incidents and document details.
