Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Control Room Operator based at our Moorebank site in Western Sydney. You will ensure smooth operation of a highly automated distribution centre, acting as the key liaison between the customer and Toyota Automated Logistics in a 24/7 environment.

Join our newly formed Control Room team to monitor systems, coordinate with technicians and support continuous improvement while upholding safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical, operational, or control room environment in automated warehousing.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Experience with automated systems, monitoring tools, and incident management platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Qualifications in IT, Engineering, Automation or related discipline are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact in the control room, ensuring clear communication with the customer.
• Monitor real-time warehouse systems, identify and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate with on-site technicians and remote support teams to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate incident records and system events using reporting tools.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support safety procedures and contribute to system reliability improvements.
