Transurban is hiring a casual Network Operator based in Sydney to join our busy control rooms. You will monitor traffic, coordinate response teams and relay critical information to keep roads safe, including during incidents around tunnels and open roads.

This 12-month casual role requires full availability, including weekends and public holidays, with shift work that keeps roads moving 24/7. Prior experience in monitoring centres helps, and you'll work with CCTV, incident detection systems and

Qualifications

• Experience in a monitoring centre or operational environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and manage traffic on open roads and in tunnels using control systems.
• Interpret CCTV, Automated Incident Detection Systems and other tools.
• Coordinate with field staff and Emergency Services to contain incidents and keep people safe.
• Develop and follow traffic management plans to ensure efficiency and safety during incidents.
• Collate real-time road condition information for stakeholders and media.
