In this hands-on role, you will design and develop components and systems for ultrasound probes, including injection-molded plastics, machined parts, and adhesive systems. You’ll also step beyond CAD to support verification and validation, collaborate with suppliers, and contribute to reliability growth testing such as drop tests. Experience in FEM simulation or multi-body physics is a strong plus.
This role is based in Austria.
Design mechanical components and assemblies for ultrasound probes
Apply knowledge of materials, adhesives, and manufacturing processes
Support testing, validation, and supplier collaboration
Contribute to product reliability and performance improvements
Establishes product requirements (internal and external), defines components and sub systems making up the overall architecture. Provides forward looking strategy for platforms and technology development / insertion to make product competitive. Defines and provides scope management. (defines the what)

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Strong CAD skills and hands-on design experience
Knowledge of plastics, adhesives, and mechanical testing
Legal authorization to work in Austria
Fluent English
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
