Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

  • Work in a motivated engineering team to improve performance of internal combustion engines.
  • Support innovative gas engine development projects focusing on performance improvements.
  • Support 1D simulation activities focusing on turbocharging and gas exchange.
  • Support in-house testing activities on engines.
  • Analyze investigation results and field data.
  • Conduct literature research for supporting data.
  • Cooperate closely with other functions like controls and design.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Work in a motivated engineering team to improve the steady state and transient performance of our internal combustion engines applying both simulation and testing
  • Support innovative gas engine development projects focusing on performance improvements (power, efficiency, fuel flexibility, emissions, transient behavior etc.), cost out and operating strategies
  • Support 1D simulation activities focusing on turbocharging and gas exchange etc.
  • Support in-house testing activities on single and multi-cylinder engines with emphasis on mixture preparation, gas exchange and turbocharging etc.
  • Analyze investigation results and field data including interpretation, conclusion and reporting
  • Conduct literature research for background / supporting data relevant to the project being executed
  • Cooperate closely with other functions like controls, design, mechanical engineering, exhaust gas aftertreatment and test benches etc.

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 2.645,68 gross per month (x 14).
