Team Leader, Technical Inside Sales/ Sales Engineer (m/f/d)

Are you an open-minded, responsible person with a hands-on attitude who has already gained experience in a team lead role? Would you like to provide technical support to both our field sales team and internal sales to ensure the smooth flow of the quote preparation process? Do you want to work as part of a young team in a well-established sales division and help expand it successfully?

Your responsibilities include:

• You will provide technical and managerial leadership to the Internal Sales team, foster employee development, and ensure efficient task allocation and reliable collaboration
• Together with the Head of Sales, you will further develop strategies and processes for the internal sales team, monitor relevant KPIs, and implement continuous improvements in the quoting and pricing process
• You will provide technical advice to customers on products, systems, and solutions; prepare and calculate quotes and technical proposals; and ensure compliance with commercial and technical costing guidelines
• You will oversee projects from the pre-sales phase through handover, support the field sales team and project teams with quotes, contract award meetings, renegotiations, customer interactions, and escalations, and act as a sparring partner for the technical departments
• You are responsible for order entry and data quality in the ERP system, maintain sales documentation, and coordinate with the purchasing department to update the prices of our standard products
• You are responsible for creating and managing 3D sales models and layouts in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, working closely with the engineering and project implementation teams

What you bring to the table:

• You have completed vocational training (apprenticeship, HTL, or university of applied sciences), ideally with a technical background, and possess a strong business acumen
• You have already gained experience in internal sales or a comparable cross-functional role
• Ideally, you have very good knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD and experience in creating layouts
• You work precisely, in a structured manner, and with attention to detail—both independently and as part of a team
• You are service- and customer-oriented, outgoing, and confident in acting as an internal and external liaison
• You possess strong negotiation skills in German and English, are resilient, flexible, and solution-oriented

You’ll start with us at an entry-level annual salary of €52,000.00. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we’re willing to offer a significantly higher salary.
