You should bring several years in Swiss SME / Commercial Insurance, deep knowledge of Property/Casualty, and fluency in German and/or French.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience in the Swiss SME / Commercial Insurance market.
• Strong background as Underwriter, Technical Underwriter or P&C Insurance Expert.
• Deep knowledge of Property and/or Casualty insurance.
• Strong understanding of Commercial P&C underwriting and risk assessment.
• Practical experience with risk appetite, underwriting guidelines, product structures and portfolio steering.
• Experience with underwriting limits, deductibles and commercial insurance contracts.
• Good knowledge of Swiss market practices.
• Ability to work independently with limited onboarding.
• Fluency in German and/or French.

Aufgaben

• Review and further develop the P&C risk appetite framework.
• Assess and optimise the SME product offering and coverage concepts.
• Review underwriting guidelines, principles, limits and deductibles.
• Analyse current underwriting and market practices.
• Review and optimise facility agreements and framework contracts.
• Assess underwriting processes, workflows and operating models.
• Identify and document improvement opportunities and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Sales, Business Development and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and present findings and recommendations to specialist and management audiences.
