Placements24 is seeking a Senior Buyer focused on Raw Materials to drive strategic sourcing and procurement for production inputs. This fully remote role requires strong negotiation skills, global market insights, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

The candidate will lead end-to-end purchasing, monitor commodity trends, and collaborate with quality, operations, and R&D teams to ensure continuity and responsible sourcing.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Agriculture, Business, or related field.
• 6–8 years' progressive procurement experience, with focus on raw materials in the food manufacturing or related industry.
• Strong strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract management for commodities.
• Deep understanding of global commodity markets and risk management strategies.
• Excellent analytical, financial, and data analysis skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adapted for remote interaction.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain high productivity in a remote setting.
• Commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability principles.

• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Buyer focusing on Raw Materials to join their dynamic procurement team, operating entirely remotely. This critical role will be responsible for the strategic sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management of all raw materials essential for production. The Senior Buyer will lead negotiations with key suppliers, drive cost optimization initiatives, ensure supply continuity, and manage supplier relationships to uphold quality and sustainability standards.
