Key Responsibilities

• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes based on design requirements and performance criteria.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation phases to ensure design integrity and functionality.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including electronics, software, and manufacturing engineers, via online platforms.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues and provide technical guidance to resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Contribute to the development of design standards, best practices, and knowledge sharing within the engineering department.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on challenging projects.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 9 years of extensive experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Expertise in advanced CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of mechanics of materials, dynamics, and thermodynamics.
• Proven ability to manage complex design projects from concept to production.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong aptitude for innovation.
• Superior communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote team environment.
