Sportradar is seeking a Senior Accountant – Capitalized Software to own end-to-end accounting for internally developed software, ensuring IFRS and SOX compliance, and driving process improvements. You’ll partner with FP&A, the Data Office, and Engineering to optimize capitalization, reporting, and controls.
The role requires 5+ years in accounting/finance, IFRS knowledge, SOX experience, and strong Excel and communication skills.

Senior Accountant – Capitalized Software
THE CHALLENGE:
Software development is part of Sportradar’s core business, and development costs of internally developed software are capitalized under IAS 38 Intangible Assets. As a US-listed company, Sportradar reports on internal control over financial reporting under SOX 404, with controls audited by independent external auditors under PCAOB standards.
In this role you own the end-to-end accounting for internally developed software, ensuring compliance with IFRS and SOX internal controls, and drive process improvements. You work closely with FP&A, the Data Office, Engineering and other Accounting functions.
