Zusammenfassung

Sportradar is seeking a Senior Accountant – Capitalized Software to own end-to-end accounting for internally developed software, ensuring IFRS and SOX compliance, and driving process improvements. You’ll partner with FP&A, the Data Office, and Engineering to optimize capitalization, reporting, and controls.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting/finance, IFRS knowledge, SOX experience, and strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years in accounting/finance or at a Big4.
• Experience designing, implementing and documenting policies, controls and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS / GAAP, IAS 38 Intangible Assets.
• Prior SOX experience is mandatory.
• Financial reporting experience in a publicly listed company is a strong plus.
• Proficient in Excel; strong analytical and communication skills; fluent English.

Aufgaben

• Capitalization assessment: review projects and One-Pager documentation for IAS 38 capitalization criteria.
• Approve One-Pagers and set project codes and capitalization dates in Jira.
• Monitor capitalization end dates and review extension requests.
• Accounting and reporting: prepare and post capitalization journal entries and accruals.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve items promptly.
• Assign useful lives and monitor impairment/write-offs.
• Establish annual wage rates for capitalization with FP&A.
• Review unfinished/fully amortized programs and prepare disclosures for the 20-F.
• SOX controls: sign-off on capitalization approvals and maintain AuditBoard documentation.
• Support audits with required documentation.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Data Office and Engineering to resolve discrepancies.
