Scantox Neuro GmbH in Grambach near Graz is seeking a Research Assistant for Operations and Tissue Sampling in Laboratory Rodents. The role is full-time (40 hours) at location Grambach, offering opportunities to work on cutting-edge neurodegenerative disease research.

You will independently perform tissue sampling in mice and rats, conduct surgeries, and help create or revise SOPs. Training and equipment responsibility are part of the position, with a focus on quality and precise experiment

• Completed training, ideally in veterinary medicine or natural sciences (biology, pharmacy, etc.).
• Independent, structured and precise way of working.
• High sense of responsibility and understanding of quality.

• Ability to implement test protocols precisely and document experiments.
• Confident handling of MS Office and other common computer applications.
• Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.

Research Assistant for Operations and Tissue Sampling in Laboratory Rodents (f/m/d)

Full-time | 40 hours | Location Grambach near Graz

In this role, you will work on innovative research projects in the field of neurodegenerative diseases and take on the following activities, among others:

• Independent performance of complex tissue sampling in mice and rats
• Performing surgeries, e.g. stereotactic injections in mice and rats
• Creation and revision of new or existing SOPs
• Assumption of training and equipment responsibility

For this position, a collectively agreed minimum gross salary of EUR 2,528.04 per month (14 times a year, full-time basis) applies. Depending on qualifications and professional experience, we naturally offer an overpayment.
