Scantox Neuro GmbH is an internationally successful contract research company in the preclinical field. In our Neuropharmacology department, we have been successfully supervising preclinical studies with a focus on neurodegeneration for many years and thus make a significant contribution to the development of new therapeutic approaches.

We are looking for a committed, responsible leader to lead our Animal Facility.

Important note about the position:
The function will initially be taken over as part of a maternity leave replacement. However, the employment will take place Unlimited from the beginning and offers a long-term perspective within our company.

Your main area of responsibility:

• Technical and organizational management of the Animal Facility
• Ensuring smooth operation in compliance with all legal and internal requirements
• Leadership, development and motivation of the team

Your profile:

• Degree in veterinary medicine, biology or comparable scientific discipline
• Several years of professional experience in the field of laboratory animal science, laboratory animal husbandry or a comparable environment
• Strong communication skills and team orientation
• Experience in managing employees is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of the relevant legal framework in the field of animal husbandry and animal experimentation
• Strong organizational skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• High sense of responsibility and understanding of quality
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
