Anton Paar GmbH sucht eine erfahrene Führungspersönlichkeit für das IT Department Management im Bereich Client & Core Systems. Sie leiten ein hochqualifiziertes Team und verantworten Betrieb, Sicherheit und Weiterentwicklung zentraler IT-Services.

Zu Ihren Aufgaben gehören die strategische Ausrichtung, Ressourcenplanung sowie die enge Zusammenarbeit mit Security und internationalen Teams. Sichere, effiziente Prozesse und eine Kultur der technischen Exzellenz werden hier großgeschrieben.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Studium mit Schwerpunkt Wirtschaftsinformatik, Informatik oder vergleichbar.
• Mehrjährige Führungserfahrung in IT, ideal im Bereich Client & Core IT.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse moderner Microsoft-Umgebungen (AD, Entra ID, M365, Exchange, Teams).
• Erfahrung in Führung, Entwicklung und Organisation eines IT-Teams sowie Ressourcen- und Prioritätenmanagement.
• Erfahrung mit IT-Security, Automatisierung, Standardisierung und Lifecycle Management.

Responsibilities

• Technische und disziplinarische Führung der Client & Core Systems Abteilung und Weiterentwicklung von Strategie und Betriebsmodellen.
• Verantwortung für Verfügbarkeit, Stabilität, Sicherheit und Qualität der Workplace-, Client-, Identity-, Collaboration- und Core-Services.
• Definition und Weiterentwicklung der technischen Strategien, Zielarchitekturen, Standards und Operating Models.
• Priorisierung von Initiativen, Ressourcenplanung und Sicherstellung nachhaltiger Servicequalität.
• Technische Entscheidungen treffen und als Sparringspartner bei komplexen Architektur- und Infrastrukturthemen agieren.
• Förderung von Standardisierung, Automatisierung und Lifecycle-Management zur Reduzierung von Komplexität.

IT Department Manager - Client & Core Systems (f/m/x)

• Full-time

Anton Paar develops, produces and distributes highly precise laboratory and process measurement technology as well as customized automation and robotics solutions. For our Client & Core Systems department, we are looking for an experienced leader with a strong technical background. In this position, you and your team will ensure the stable, secure and future-oriented operation of key IT services while continuously developing them from both a technical and organizational perspective.

• Technical and disciplinary leadership as well as strategic and organizational development of the Client & Core Systems department
• Overall responsibility for the availability, stability, security and quality of our workplace, client, identity, collaboration and core services
• Defining and continuously developing the technical strategy, target architectures, standards and operating models for the department
• Prioritization of initiatives and projects, management of resources and capacities, and ensuring sustainable service quality
• Responsibility for technical decisions and active role as a sparring partner for complex architecture and infrastructure topics
• Continuous advancement of standardization, automation and lifecycle management with the aim of reducing complexity and increasing scalability
• Close collaboration with Information Security and responsibility for implementing relevant security requirements within the department
• Coordination and collaboration with other IT departments as well as international teams and locations
• Establishment of clear responsibilities, efficient processes and transparent interfaces
• Leadership and development of employees as well as building a high-performing, self-organized team structure

• Completed education with a focus on Business Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in IT, preferably in the area of Client & Core IT
• Strong understanding of modern Microsoft environments, particularly Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams, as well as client and device management
• Experience in leading, developing and organizing an IT team as well as managing responsibilities, priorities and resources
• Experience with IT security, automation, standardization and lifecycle management
• Ability to combine operational stability with continuous technical and organizational development
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as a strong hands-on mentality

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade - adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 5.000,-- (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
