Job summary

CZEISS is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the ATSEE region from Graz, Austria. You will act as a trusted HR partner for managers and employees, driving HR initiatives and ensuring compliant operations across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities include recruitment, HR administration, payroll support, attendance management, and coordinating travel and expenses. The role requires a degree in HR or related field, 2–3 years of HR experience, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of HR generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of Austrian labour law and HR administration.
• Experience with payroll processes.
• Experience with HR systems and MS Office.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment and full employee lifecycle activities.
• Coordinate HR administration including contracts, records and documentation.
• Support monthly payroll preparation and ensure HR data accuracy.
• Oversee time and attendance, vacation and absence administration.
• Organise business travel, expense claims, and support HR projects and org development initiatives.
