Job summary
Cross Border Talents is supporting a global medical technology company in Porto to hire an experienced O2C lead who will own the end-to-end order-to-cash cycle, including billing, collections, cash application and dispute resolution. You will mentor junior O2C staff and work with Sales, Logistics, Treasury and Tax teams.
The role requires 5–7 years in O2C/Finance Operations, ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/Workday), and fluent German with advanced English.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- 5–7 years in O2C, AR or Finance Operations.
- At least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Workday).
- Experience in global, multi-currency environments.
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Fluent German (spoken and written) and advanced English (C1).
Responsibilities
- Lead O2C operations: order management, billing, collections, cash application.
- Prepare AR ageing reports and drive collection strategies.
- Resolve disputes and negotiate payment terms.
- Ensure compliance with audit, SOX, IFRS and tax.
- Drive process automation and efficiency improvements.
- Support month- and quarter-end close and reporting.
- Train and mentor junior O2C specialists.
- Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Treasury and Tax teams.
