PL34-ESG-Procurement Specialist, Sr.
Job summary
A global energy provider in Neuquén is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist. You will plan sourcing for goods and services, manage supplier performance, and drive cost efficiencies. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in purchasing processes and is proficient in English. Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in purchasing processes, supplier management, budget administration, competitive bidding.
- Advanced English Proficiency is mandatory.
- Preferred basic procurement certification.
Responsibilities
- Plans sourcing of goods and services under supervision.
- Complies with Category Management strategy.
- Implements local procurement agreements and assesses supplier performance.

Under general supervision, plans sourcing of goods and services to support manufacturing, field operations or project management. Complies with and executes Category Management strategy in accordance with policies and procedures. Creates request for quotations (RFQ) or organizes competitive biddings from various suppliers to obtain best quality, delivery and price for goods and services. Implements agreements for local procurement of goods and services not covered under Category Management. Assesses supplier performance and conducts reviews with suppliers. May be responsible for complex operations or large expenditures. May lead in the development of less experienced Procurement Specialists. Job tasks impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Basic procurement certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing processes, supplier management, budget administration, competitive bidding in the Oil field tools and services and chemical sectors.
- Advanced English Proficiency is mandatory
