Job summary

Opsarmy is seeking an experienced Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to deliver specialized US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll assistance in a remote Argentina setting. The role requires strong accounting judgment and the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues independently.

You will handle escalated inquiries, review reconciliations, and support tax notices while collaborating with internal specialists.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with US accounting and taxation.
• Experience with bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to explain complex accounting topics to nontechnical customers.
• Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries and notices.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies and transactions.
• Communicate findings via Zendesk, email tickets, and phone support.
• Identify root causes and improve workflows and knowledge resources.
• Document resolutions and maintain customer records.
• Learn proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.
