Job summary

Our client, a U.S.-based higher education marketing agency, seeks a Technical SEO Lead to manage a portfolio of partner accounts and improve visibility across traditional and AI-enabled search.

The role blends hands-on technical SEO with building Claude-based tools and workflows to reduce manual work in audits, reporting, and content production. You will join the SEO team and collaborate with the Executive Director of SEO to scale the service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO with at least 3 focused on technical SEO
• Track record of uncovering high-impact issues and driving fixes
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console and GA4

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts and audits
• Write developer-ready specs and ensure fixes go live
• Handle light WordPress implementation (titles, meta, redirects, schema)
• Monitor Search Console and GA4 for drops and indexing problems
• Build Claude-based tools and workflows for audits, QA, and reporting
• Design scalable systems for the SEO service and ensure time savings
