Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a highly experienced Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will drive the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and build strong relationships with operators and drilling contractors to deliver high-value solutions.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and product teams to ensure service quality and commercial success, while identifying cross-sell opportunities across our drilling products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience working with operators in shale basins; capable of influencing engineering and procurement stakeholders.
• Ability to translate technical information into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in Vaca Muerta.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key operators and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations and post-well analyses to demonstrate value and differentiation.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence in CRM.
