Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Advisor - Technical Sales to lead commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation, delivering technical value through presentations and post‑well analysis.

Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality, while building relationships with major operators such as YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience working with operators in shale basins such as Vaca Muerta.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering/procurement stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills translating technical value into commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key operators and drilling contractors.
• Delivering technical presentations and post-well analyses to demonstrate service value and differentiation.
• Collaborating with operations, engineering and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
