Job summary

Baker Hughes in Argentina seeks a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will drive the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and build relationships with major operators to deliver high-value, technically informed solutions.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and product teams to ensure service excellence, identify cross-sell opportunities across MWD/LWD, RSS, and related systems, and support tender and renewal processes while

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPI knowledge.
• Experience with operators in Vaca Muerta or shale basins.
• Ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering/procurement stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with operators such as YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex.
• Deliver technical presentations and post-well analysis to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence in CRM.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
