Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on marketing-oriented analytics for education and nonprofit clients. You’ll own end-to-end data ingestion, CRM connections, and a scalable warehouse in BigQuery, with modular dbt/Dataform pipelines powering Looker Studio dashboards and automated reports.

The role emphasizes data quality, CI/CD, and multi-client data segregation within a remote, async-friendly team. Strong SQL, Python, and marketing metrics experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in marketing or agency settings.
• Strong SQL with BigQuery expertise for transformation and modeling.
• Experience with dbt or Dataform for modular pipelines.
• Python for API connectors and automation.
• CRM data flows with Salesforce, HubSpot, or Slate.
• Understanding of ROAS, CPA, CAC and paid platform schemas.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion and pipeline architecture from ad platforms to the warehouse.
• Maintain reliable CRM connections (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Design and optimize BigQuery schemas and storage strategy.
• Build SQL mappings in modular dbt/Dataform pipelines.
• Maintain CI/CD with GitHub Actions and enforce data segregation.
• Enable fast Looker Studio dashboards and automated reports.
• Monitor data quality and flag risks to leadership.
