Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile testing across our fintech products. You will build and maintain automated tests, drive CI/CD integration, and ensure high quality releases for web and mobile apps.

You will work with developers and product teams to improve testability, coverage, and reliability, utilizing Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, and AI-assisted QA tools in a dynamic, remote-first environment.

Competenze

• 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands‑on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered applications is a plus.

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for key user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Balance manual vs automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
