Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile testing, with strong automation skills and hands-on manual testing. You will build and maintain tests, integrate into CI/CD, and ensure high-quality releases across platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing and using Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic quality skills.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests and more.
• Document feature behavior in detail.
• Record pass/fail conditions and link to bugs.
• Identify and elevate quality risks to the product or process.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality through SDLC.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback.
• Participate in refinement and effort estimations.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
