AgileEngine, LLC in Córdoba, Argentina is seeking a Python Developer to build and scale an event-driven integration platform, including APIs, resilience mechanisms, and GenAI-enabled tooling.

You'll work on a Python service handling an observation/intent/outcome taxonomy, with durable event logs and workers translating events into ITSM actions. Strong OpenAPI/OpenAPI-AsyncAPI design and a passion for learning are essential.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of production Python experience with typed, tested services and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of event-driven and asynchronous architecture with messaging, durable logs, idempotency, and retries.
• REST API design and OpenAPI experience; working with AsyncAPI contracts.
• Experience with Apache Kafka or equivalent streaming platform.
• GenAI-assisted development and ability to use AI tools responsibly.
• Testing with pytest and contract testing; CI/CD; Linux, Git and containers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to defend architectural trade-offs.
• Continuous learning mindset and ability to evaluate new tools critically.

Responsabilidades

• Build a Python service handling an observation/intent/outcome taxonomy and a durable event log.
• Design and maintain contract-first interfaces using OpenAPI and AsyncAPI.
• Create a correlation layer turning signals into ITSM actions applied once.
• Design resilience mechanisms for degraded or unavailable vendor platforms.
• Support multiple access patterns: fire-and-forget, submit-and-poll, webhook, stream, batch.
• Develop event type registry and self-service onboarding for teams.
• Build GenAI-facing integration surfaces for agent skills and tool calling.
• Modernize legacy integrations via managed deprecation paths without disruption.
• Own quality end-to-end: code reviews, standards, testing, observability, production support.
• Participate in ceremonies and meetings; collaborate with consuming teams.
• Autonomously own components or projects and document decisions as architecture ADRs.
