AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Python Developer to build and scale an event-driven integration platform. You will implement APIs, resilience, and AI-facing integrations, with a focus on typed, tested services and robust concurrency handling.

The role requires experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI/AsyncAPI, and Kafka-like streaming systems. You’ll work across distributed systems, maintaining strong testing discipline, CI/CD, and containerized deployments.

Formación

• 4+ years of production Python experience with typed, tested services and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of event-driven and asynchronous architectures.
• Experience designing REST APIs and OpenAPI; AsyncAPI contracts welcome.
• Experience with Kafka or equivalent streaming platform.
• Familiar with GenAI-assisted development and AI coding tools.
• Solid testing discipline and CI/CD pipelines; Linux, Git, containers.

Responsabilidades

• Build a Python service handling an event taxonomy and durable replay log.
• Design interfaces with OpenAPI and AsyncAPI; ensure reliable operations.
• Create correlation/decision layer turning signals into ITSM actions.
• Develop resilience mechanisms for degraded or unavailable upstreams.
• Support multiple access patterns: webhook, fire-and-forget, polling, streams.
• Own quality: code review, testing, observability, production support.
