AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Python Developer to build and scale an event-driven integration platform with APIs, resilience features, and AI-facing integrations. You will craft durable event logs, worker processes, and contract-first interfaces.

The role emphasizes GenAI-assisted development, code quality, and production support within a global squad. Excellent communication and problem-solving are required.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of production Python experience with typed, tested services and APIs.
• Solid event-driven and asynchronous architecture knowledge.
• REST API design and OpenAPI/AsyncAPI experience.
• Kafka or equivalent streaming platform experience.
• GenAI-assisted development experience or willingness to adopt.
• Testing discipline with pytest and contract testing; CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving for distributed systems.

Aufgaben

• Build and evolve a Python service handling event taxonomy and a durable replayable log.
• Design interfaces with OpenAPI and AsyncAPI; ensure contracts.
• Create a correlation layer turning signals into ITSM actions with exactly-once semantics.
• Develop resilience mechanisms for degraded/upstream-unavailable scenarios.
• Support multiple access patterns: fire-and-forget, submit-and-poll, webhooks, streams, and bulk ingestion.
• Develop event type registry and self-service onboarding for teams.
