Job summary

Tether Automation QA Engineer position focuses on both automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build and maintain regression tests, integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and ensure high-quality releases across platforms.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in QA automation, hands-on testing, and experience with Playwright or similar frameworks. Remote-friendly with flexible schedules and competitive USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

3+ years in QA automation.
3+ years in automated testing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Mindset focused on holistic quality.
Experience writing and working with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bugs.
Identify and resolve any risk to quality of the product or process.
Collaborate with product team to ensure quality throughout SDLC and releases.
Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in testing strategy.
Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for accurate planning.
Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run custom scripts.
Participate in On-Call rotation.
