Job summary

Proofpoint in Córdoba, Argentina is seeking a Product Support Engineer to deliver advanced technical support for our cybersecurity products. You will work with enterprise customers, resolve issues, and contribute to knowledge bases.

The role requires strong Linux command-line skills, deep debugging ability, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to mentor others and improve support processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in a Technical Support role.
• Excellent written and verbal customer-facing communication skills.
• Experience with Linux command line environments.
• Advanced use of grep, regex, log scraping in command line.
• Experience with email system debugging.
• Experience with remote hosting tools for customer troubleshooting sessions.
• Experience with security products (Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Symantec, McAfee, Fortinet) is a plus.
• Ability to debug broad, system environments of moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced software technical support to customers via phone and the ticketing system.
• Manage cases in the ticketing system to ensure adherence to SLO guidelines.
• Create and send alerts and other customer communications as necessary.
• Publish Knowledge Base articles for internal and customer use.
• Review technical documentation for training materials and tutorials.
