Job summary

Proofpoint in Cordoba, Argentina is seeking a Product Support Engineer to deliver advanced software technical support to enterprise customers. You will diagnose issues, manage cases, and collaborate with Account Managers, SEs, and Success teams to ensure high-quality resolutions and customer success.

Responsibilities include publishing knowledge base articles, leading debugging efforts in Linux environments, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

4+ years in a Technical Support role or equivalent with customer-facing experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Linux command line environments.
Advanced grep, regex, log scraping in command line.
Experience debugging email systems end-to-end.
Familiarity with remote hosting tools for customer troubleshooting.
Experience with security products (email/network) is a plus.
Ability to debug broad, system environments of moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced software technical support to customers, resellers, and partners via phone and ticketing system.
Manage cases to ensure adherence to SLO guidelines.
Create and send alerts and other customer communications as needed.
Publish Knowledge Base articles for internal and customer use.
Review and contribute to technical documentation and training materials; mentor junior engineers.
Lead by example in technical and professional conduct.
