Job summary

Paired is seeking experienced Lifecycle & Retention Growth Strategists to own customer retention, lifecycle marketing, and growth initiatives for multiple fast-growing e-commerce clients. This remote role focuses on email/SMS, subscriptions, journeys, and experiments to improve revenue, engagement, and lifetime value.

You will work with international teams, lead cross-functional collaborators, and leverage AI tools to optimize campaigns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, retention marketing, CRM, growth marketing, email/SMS marketing, or subscription growth.
• Strong understanding of DTC/ecommerce, consumer, subscription, or digital businesses and how retention drives revenue.
• Data-driven decisions rather than executing predefined campaigns.
• Experience with lifecycle marketing platforms such as Klaviyo or similar tools.
• Ability to own measurable outcomes like revenue, retention, churn, and LTV.

Responsibilities

• Own lifecycle and retention strategy across email, SMS, subscription, and other touchpoints.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities and determine tests or optimizations.
• Develop experiments around offers, messaging, segmentation, journeys, and retention.
• Build and optimize lifecycle programs including onboarding, post-purchase, winback, and cancellation journeys.
• Present performance, recommendations, and priorities to clients or stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams including copywriters, designers, PMs, and developers.
• Identify process improvements and opportunities to use AI/automation where relevant.
