Job summary

Optery, a fully remote global team, seeks a senior lifecycle marketer to own end-to-end CRM, retention, and email programs. You will design journeys, build campaigns, write copy, run experiments, and report results, influencing activation, activation, engagement, upgrade, renewal, and win-back.

You will partner with product, analytics, and paid teams to ensure messaging is cohesive across the customer journey and leverage AI to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on lifecycle, CRM, retention, or email marketing experience.
• Fluency in a modern marketing automation platform (Customer.io, Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo) including segmentation and templating.

Responsibilities

• Own lifecycle marketing roadmap across activation, conversion, retention, and expansion.
• Build, launch, and iterate automated campaigns and flows in marketing automation platforms.
• Own in-app messaging and transactional communications with product and engineering.
• Develop mobile push notification strategy with opt-in flows and timing.
• Create segmentation and personalization using behavioral data.
• Run A/B tests with clear holdouts and measurement.
• Manage email deliverability, list hygiene, and suppression strategies.
• Collaborate with analytics to measure lifecycle performance and tie to revenue.
• Coordinate messaging with paid acquisition, product, and support teams.
