JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Lead Site Reliability Engineer to partner with stakeholders to define NFRs and availability targets for services in our IPFS team. You will ensure SLOs, instrumentation, and production readiness are built into design and testing, while guiding AI-enabled reliability initiatives across SDLC.

You will mentor technologists, drive engineering partnerships, and contribute to the firm’s reliability community while advancing secure, observable, and resilient systems.

Formación

• Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of observability, including SLOs, alerts, and telemetry.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, Python, and Terraform for enterprise-grade apps.
• Experience using AI capabilities to improve reliability workflows with strong validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native tech.
• Experience building AI agents and using AI tooling to accelerate development.
• Strong skills in logging pipelines and metrics collection with tracing.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Proficient with containerization and CI/CD pipelines, GitOps.

• Design observability and reliability for complex systems to reduce toil.
• Use enterprise AI capabilities for reliability design, incident analysis, and traceability.

• Provide guidance, tools, and solutions to support firm growth.
• Contribute to the SRE community via internal forums and guilds.
• Lead AI-assisted reliability workflows across SDLC/toolchain with governance.
