J.P. Morgan is seeking a Mid-level Network SRE to own troubleshooting and reliability improvements across network platforms. You will lead problem management for recurring issues, drive automation-first operations, and partner with development teams to improve observability, alert quality, and resilience.

The role emphasizes proactive incident response, structured RCAs, and collaboration with cross-functional teams within a regulated financial environment.

Formación

• Demonstrated incident response and problem management ownership.
• Strong hands-on networking across enterprise routing/switching and security/L4–L7 components.
• Automation using Python, Shell, and Ansible in production operations.
• SRE mindset with reliability concepts, NFRs, and risk analysis approaches (FMEA familiarity).

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day operational ownership for network services, including complex troubleshooting and coordinated restoration.
• Drive incident and problem management: run structured investigations, produce RCAs, and ensure corrective actions.
• Participate in and support major incident management (communications support, technical lead support).
• Design and implement production-grade automation using Python, Shell, and Ansible.
• Engineer/support across SD-WAN, SDA, and broader software-defined networking (SND).
• Improve reliability via standardization, guardrails, repeatable runbooks, and continuous validation.
• Build observability insights with dashboards, high-signal alerting, and service health metrics.
• Apply SRE practices: operational readiness, toil reduction, and reliability thinking.
