Job summary

Hire Overseas is seeking a Senior HR Director to build the people function from scratch, owning talent acquisition, executive recruiting, organizational design, and performance management. You will personally headhunt C-suite and senior operations leaders, ensuring compliance and a measurable ROI on human capital.

You’ll report to senior leadership as the sole HR resource and operate in a fully remote, international capacity, with a focus on US employment standards and centralized time zones.

Qualifications

• Experience scaling a company from ~40–50 to 100+ employees.
• Executive search capability with direct headhunting of senior leaders.
• Significant exposure to US employment practices and compliance.
• Strong English communication with executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Own recruitment at all levels, including executive search.
• Lead executive searches for COOs, CMOs, VPs, and other senior roles.
• Plan headcount with business leaders to anticipate hiring needs.
• Design onboarding, offboarding, and policy governance for US employment compliance.
• Establish KPI-driven performance management and accountability culture.
• Manage employee relations and create scalable people processes from scratch.
