Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. in Buenos Aires is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own production reliability for a high-scale live hiring events platform serving enterprise clients.

You will diagnose issues across distributed backend systems built on Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka, while collaborating closely with Client Support and GTM teams to maintain SLA compliance. The role requires rapid execution, strong React frontend experience, and the ability to take ownership across multiple concurrent

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Backend: Java + Spring Boot (primary).
• Backend: Python + Django (secondary).
• Frontend: React.
• Experience with Kafka, GraphQL, SQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Ability to ramp up quickly and own multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to live hiring events and platform functionality.
• Diagnose problems across distributed systems, integrations, and event workflows.
• Collaborate with Client Support and GTM teams to triage and resolve tickets.
• Ensure timely issue resolution per SLAs.
• Monitor production systems and respond to alerts and incidents.
• Maintain and update event logic as platform dependencies evolve.
• Contribute to architecture improvements and scalability initiatives.
• Own code merges, deployments, and production changes with minimal supervision.
• Support and onboard additional engineers as the team grows.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple projects.
