Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own production reliability of a high-scale live hiring events platform serving enterprise clients.

You will diagnose issues across distributed backends built on Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka, while collaborating with Client Support and GTM teams to maintain SLA compliance. Strong React frontend experience is required, and the role demands taking ownership across multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Backend development with Java + Spring Boot; Python + Django as secondary.
• Strong frontend experience with React.
• Experience with Kafka, GraphQL, SQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Ability to ramp up quickly and own multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues in live environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across live events and platform functionality.
• Diagnose problems across distributed systems, integrations, and event workflows.
• Collaborate with Client Support and GTM teams to triage and resolve tickets efficiently.
• Ensure timely issue resolution in accordance with SLAs.
• Monitor production systems and respond to alerts or performance degradation.
• Maintain and update event logic as dependencies evolve.
• Contribute to architecture improvements, reliability, and scalability initiatives.
• Own code merges, deployments, and production changes with minimal supervision.
• Support and onboard additional engineers as the team grows.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across projects.
