Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own production reliability for a high-scale live hiring events platform serving enterprise clients. You will diagnose issues across distributed backend systems built on Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka, while collaborating with Client Support and GTM teams to maintain SLA compliance.

Strong React frontend experience and ownership across multiple concurrent projects are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development with Java + Spring Boot (Primary Priority).
• Strong frontend experience with React.
• Experience with Kafka, GraphQL, SQL and/or MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to live hiring events and platform functionality.
• Diagnose problems across distributed systems, integrations, and event workflows.
• Collaborate with Client Support and GTM teams to triage and resolve tickets efficiently.
• Ensure timely issue resolution in accordance with SLAs.
• Monitor production systems and respond to alerts, incidents, or performance degradation.
• Maintain and update event logic as platform dependencies evolve.
• Contribute to architecture improvements, backend reliability, and system scalability initiatives.
• Own code merges, deployments, and production changes with minimal supervision.
• Support and onboard additional engineers as the team grows.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple projects.
