Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Java/Spring Boot as the primary skill set.
• Django/Python as a secondary skill set.
• React as a frontend skill.
• Kafka and GraphQL experience.
• SQL or MongoDB knowledge.
• Build and deployment experience.
• Senior-level with ownership and autonomy.
• Experience with Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve production issues for the hiring events product.
• Partner with client-facing teams to triage and address support tickets.
• Ensure issues meet SLAs and respond to alerts.
• Monitor production systems and address performance degradation.
• Support architecture changes and system integrations affecting events.
• Maintain event logic amid dependency changes.
• Mentor and onboard team members as senior roles are filled.
