You will monitor cloud and AI/LLM spend, produce root-cause analyses, and deliver actionable recommendations. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of FinOps experience.
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization skills.
• Proven ability to investigate spend anomalies and write root-cause analyses.
• Experience advising R&D/engineering teams.
• Forecasting experience aligning central and team forecasts.
• Familiarity with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring spend.
• Cost modeling and tracking for teams.
• Proficient in Jira for investigations and Showback reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholders.
• Availability to cover APAC business hours with PST and CST overlap.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary cost guidance contact for R&D teams via Slack and other channels.
• Conduct proactive cost reviews with APAC-based colleagues and document actionable opportunities.
• Monitor cloud and AI/LLM spend for anomalies; conduct investigations and provide optimization recommendations.
• Participate in monthly forecasting with assigned R&D teams; document plans and spend intent.
• Contribute to showback reporting with cost-driver insights for senior R&D meetings.
• Support Cost Awareness and update the wiki with relevant content.
• Model team cost projections and respond to requests via Slack, email, etc.
