Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and run cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability for Data and AI teams in a PCI‑compliant environment. The role requires hands-on experience with Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and strong scripting skills.

You will work across time zones, contribute to platform tooling, and own incident response. This hybrid role offers remote and office options with competitive USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering operating production services.
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines and managing IaC.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container tooling.
• Strong scripting in Python, Bash, or Go; solid SQL and cloud platform experience.
• Hands-on experience with observability stacks and PCI-compliant environments.
• Independent worker with ability to manage priorities across time zones and on-call rotations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Strategize, roadmap, and vision for DevOps and observability for Data & AI teams.
• Design and build cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform/Pulumi/CloudFormation.
• Own CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) with security scans and blue-green/canary deploys.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters and containers with Helm, ArgoCD, or Flux, including autoscaling and secrets.
• Build observability using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or Datadog.
• Implement security and compliance controls: IAM, SSO, secrets, vulnerability scanning, policy-as-code.
• Lead incident response: on-call, runbooks, blameless post-mortems, reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with developers on local dev experience and self-service tooling.
• Shape internal platform standards and share knowledge across teams.
• Participate in a collaborative DevOps environment with cross-functional partners.
