Job summary

AgileEngine, a leading software development company, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and run cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability for Data & AI teams in a PCI-compliant environment.

You will work on scalable pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and security-conscious deployments across time zones, with 100% remote options for LATAM. This is a full-time contractor role offering competitive USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of DevOps/SRE or platform-engineering experience operating production services.
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
• Kubernetes experience (EKS, AKS, GKE) and container tooling (Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, Flux).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go with SQL skills and cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Observability stacks experience (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, Datadog).
• Security/compliance in PCI-ready or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Strategy, Roadmap & Vision – build the DevOps and observability roadmap for Data & AI teams.
• Design and build cloud infrastructure as code for AWS/Azure/GCP using Terraform/Pulumi/CloudFormation.
• Own CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) and automated deployments.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters and container workloads with ArgoCD/Flux and Helm.
• Build observability with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, and Datadog.
• Implement security and compliance controls including IAM, secrets management, and policy-as-code.
• Lead incident response and blameless post-mortems to reduce MTTR.
• Collaborate with developers on internal tooling and developer self-service.
