Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to build and run cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability for Data & AI teams in a PCI‑compliant environment. The role emphasizes automated deployments, secure infrastructure, and strong collaboration across time zones.

You will own kubernetes-based workloads, implement policy-as-code, and drive reliability initiatives across global teams. Remote-friendly with flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional DevOps, SRE, or platform-engineering experience operating production services.
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation).
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container tooling (Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, Flux).
• Scripting: Python, Bash, or Go; SQL skills; cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Observability stacks: New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, Datadog.
• Understanding of cloud security and PCI-compliant or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Strategy, roadmap and vision for DevOps and observability in Data & AI teams.
• Design and build cloud infrastructure as code for AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Own CI/CD pipelines — builds, tests, security scans, blue-green/canary deployments.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters and container workloads with ArgoCD/Flux.
• Build observability dashboards and alerts with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog.
• Implement security controls: IAM, SSO, vaults, vulnerability scanning, policy-as-code.
• Lead incident response and blameless post-mortems; reduce MTTR and toil.
• Collaborate with developers on local dev experience and self-service tooling.
• Contribute to internal platform standards; share knowledge across teams.
